The Department of State Services (DSS) has arraigned Nigerian blogger and activist, Justice Mark Chidiebere, popularly known as Justice Crack, before the Federal High Court in Abuja over allegations of incitement.
The arraignment marks the latest development in the controversial case involving the activist, who was previously handed over to the DSS by the Nigerian Army amid allegations of torture.
According to sources, the activist was returned to DSS custody immediately after the court session on Monday, raising fresh concerns about his continued detention.
Security presence was notably heavy at the court premises, with operatives and observers filling the courtroom. Journalists were reportedly denied access, preventing media coverage of the proceedings.
Meanwhile, activists, alongside members of the Take It Back Movement, staged a protest outside the court, calling for the immediate release of the blogger.
The situation continues to draw public attention as concerns grow over press freedom, human rights, and due process in Nigeria.
