A 75-year-old American big game hunter, Ernie Dosio, has died after being trampled by a herd of elephants during a hunting trip in central Africa.
Dosio, a wealthy vineyard owner from Lodi, California, was reportedly attacked on April 17 in the dense forests of Gabon. The incident occurred when he and his guide unexpectedly encountered a group of female elephants accompanied by a calf.
