The Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, has condemned the recent wave of violence in Plateau State, describing it as completely unacceptable.
In a strongly worded statement, Adams called on the Federal Government to take immediate and decisive action by establishing state police as a lasting solution to Nigeria’s worsening insecurity.
He warned that the continuous attacks in Plateau pose a serious threat to the nation’s peace, unity, and stability.
“It is unacceptable that citizens continue to live under the shadow of fear due to recurring attacks. The safety and security of every Nigerian must be guaranteed without delay,” he stated.
Adams stressed that the tragic incidents are yet another reminder of Nigeria’s deepening security crisis and urged collective efforts to protect lives and restore lasting peace across the country.
